How consumers react to returns can tell you a lot about customer experiences. How do you know an e-commerce strategy is delivering an excellent customer experience?īob: Agreed, they have to and it is happening for merchants and consumers by necessity today.

Louis: Bolt's mission to help retailers reinvent themselves and successfully launch digital channels is especially needed this year. The pandemic is the existential event no one could have ever predicted, redefining every aspect of retailing, accelerating retailers' investing in digital channels and excelling at the checkout experience. We also looked at a couple other standalone fraud companies that seemed pretty good as well.Leading up to the news, I sat down (virtually) with Bolt's new Chief Business Officer, Bob Buch. If you like the look of it, it's pretty easy to knock off. So there's basically no reason to use Bolt. Their other value add (Fraud control) doesn't really have any value to us because we're very happy with our fraud management company (Kount) and have a great relationship with them. And our conversion rate and bounce rates already look very good (Better than the 'industry studies' I keep getting in the mail and numbers they cite in their white papers). Their 1.8% is a very large number for us (More than what you're citing). I ended up subscribing the guy to the nickelback fan club and blocking him in baracuda because he won't quit spamming my email. They've been harassing us to use their checkout.
